The first and second grade classrooms are in need of cereal boxes. If you empty one at your house in the next day or two, could you please send it to school with your child? I will make sure it gets where it needs to go.
Thank you! Together we are Better!

Coins!!!
The class is doing a great job on learning their coins. Most can count a group of a nickel and some pennies! Yesterday we played a penny/nickel exchange game. Today we learned about the dime.
Today's math:
Today's math:
First one: If Grandpa gives you 7 cents and then Grandma gives you 3 more cents, how much money do you have?
Second one: If you have 10 cents and you give 5 cents to your brother/sister, how much do you have left?
Third one was the challenge and three Kindies figured it out!
If you have a dime and go to the store and buy a kitty picture for 6 cents, how much money do you have left?
Please find opportunities for you child to hold, examine, and use coins! Thank you!!!
